Skillcentrix partners with organizations live on Workday to deliver Phase X enhancements that expand and optimize Talent, Recruiting, Learning, and broader HCM capabilities. Our team supports clients through the design, configuration, and rollout of new functionality, helping them continuously evolve their Workday investment.
As a Senior Workday HCM Consultant, you will lead and support Phase X enhancements for clients already live on Workday. You’ll partner closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to design, configure, test, and roll out solutions across multiple workstreams, ensuring successful delivery, adoption, and long-term value.
Responsibilities
- Support client workshops to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Phase X enhancements
- Advise clients on Workday leading practices across HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation/Advanced Compensation, and/or Learning
- Configure Workday functionality to support evolving business needs and new capabilities
- Support end-to-end delivery activities across the Phase X lifecycle, including configuration, testing, rollout, and stabilization
- Partner with clients to refine business processes and drive adoption of new functionality
- Build strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders and internal Skillcentrix team members
- Mentor and support less experienced consultants on delivery activities
- Contribute to internal initiatives that enhance delivery assets, accelerators, and best practices
Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience, including Phase X or post–go-live enhancements
- Active Workday certification(s) in Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, and/or Advanced Compensation strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience configuring Workday in a post–go-live or enhancement-focused environment
- Experience working in a consultative, client-facing role
- Ability to mentor or support junior consultants
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 20% (travel is infrequent but may be required periodically)
