Get Ready for Workday DevCon 2023

As Workday DevCon 2023 approaches, many people are eagerly anticipating the exciting new developments that will be showcased at this event. For developers and IT professionals alike, Workday DevCon is the ultimate platform to learn about the latest trends in technology, explore new tools and applications, and network with industry leaders. 

One of the things that I am most excited about for Workday DevCon 2023 is the focus on innovation and technology. With every passing year, Workday has been introducing new and exciting features, and this year promises to be no different. We can expect to see a variety of workshops, presentations, and demos that will showcase the latest tools and product updates from Extend, Prism Analytics, and Adaptive Planning that Workday has to offer. 

CEO Keynote 

A key highlight I can’t wait for at Workday DevCon 2023: The keynote address – which is always jam-packed with new innovations and insights into Workday’s technical future. This year, Aneel Bhusri, Co-Founder, Co-CEO, and Chair of Workday, and Dave Sohigian, Global CTO of Workday, will share their insights on the latest trends in technology, innovations built within the Workday platform and the future roadmap of Workday’s technology investments.  

According to Skillcentrix CTO, Josh Lumbreras, it’s the first time Aneel will be leading the keynote since he's attended – which, for Josh, reached back to the first DevCon Workday held. His attendance underscores how important the developer community has become to Workday. In fact, much of their messaging this year is talking about how Extend is helping creatively address unique business needs and bridging the gaps between Business and IT.  

As Workday reaches out more and more to embrace the Office of the CIO, expect to see even more focus and attention from Workday leadership on tech innovation.  

Global Networking  

Another exciting element of Workday DevCon 2023 is the networking opportunities that will be available to attendees. Developers and IT professionals from across the globe will be attending the event, providing a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and discuss the latest trends and best practices in technology all while having fun along the way. 

Attendees will have access to a range of informative workshops and hands-on lab sessions. These workshops will give attendees the opportunity to explore the latest Workday tools and applications and learn how to use them to their fullest potential.  

Among the many sessions offered, I’m also looking forward to learning about the future of Workday Orchestrate and the new Graph API and hearing from other partners about exciting solutions built on the Workday platform to show how Extend, Prism, and integrations can unite to take on high-value tasks in both HCM and Financials.
